A lifelong resident of Lucas County and CHS grad, Dan Kent earned his B.S. in Farm Operations from Iowa State University in 1972 and has since built a long-standing career in farm management and real estate. Dan and his wife Deb, owned and operated Kent Farm Management and Real Estate for 40 years before selling their business to Seth and Hilary Masters.
Dan specializes in the marketing of farms, providing expert care, local knowledge, and trusted oversight. His vast experience in agriculture makes him a valuable resource when marketing your farmland investment, buying your first farm, or anything in between.
Dan and Deb reside on a cattle farm located west of Lucas, Iowa. Their farm enterprise includes a 200 head Angus herd with calves being sold as feeders twice a year. Dan lists his greatest achievements as marrying his wife, Deb, and raising their two children. Five grandchildren and two exceptional in-laws round out his family. Spending time with those so near to his heart is his favorite pastime.
